RIN OKUMURA

Nobuhiko Okamoto

A 15-year-old boy burdened with the destiny of being Satan's spawn . Although he has a violent streak, he is upbeat and warm-hearted by nature.
The demons try to take possession of his body, but he is saved by his guardian, Shiro, who sacrifices himself. To avenge Shiro's death, and to assert his existence, he is determined to become an exorcist.

When the King of Earth, Amaimon, attacks him, he draws his demon-slaying sword, to fight back, exposing him as the son of Satan to the True Cross Order.

YUKIO OKUMURA

Jun Fukuyama

Rin's twin brother (the younger of the two). A straight arrow and kind-hearted by nature, his goal is to become a doctor.He is a brilliant exorcist - the youngest in history - in short, a genius.
An instructor at the Exorcism Cram School, he teaches demon pharmaceutics.
Having promised his foster father, Shiro, to protect Rin, he is filled with a strong sense of responsibility, and he has mixed feelings regarding Rin’s decision to become an exorcist.

SHIEMI MORIYAMA

Kana Hanazawa

The daughter of the owner of Yukio's favorite exorcism supply shop. Her passion is gardening, and she can be pretty ditzy..
She enrolled at the Exorcism Cram School seeking to change her introverted nature.
Learning that Rin is the son of Satan, she finds herself unable to hide her misgivings.

RYUJI SUGURO

Kazuya Nakai

His delinquent-like appearance belies the fact that he is actually a top student, serious and diligent.
He can get emotional at times, and is often at odds with Rin, but at heart he is a caring, big-brother type.

The heir apparent to a prestigious shrine in Kyoto, the Myoda sect, he wants to become an exorcist in order to rebuild the temple. He is hostile towards his father Tatsuma, the current head of the Myōō Dharani sect, who can’t seem to behave like a proper high priest but…

RENZOU SHIMA

Koji Yusa

A boy with strikingly pink hair. A student of Ryuji Suguro's father's. Often hangs out with Ryuji and the others at the Exorcism Cram School.
A light-hearted boy who doesn’t like standing on ceremony but loves girls..
The fifth son of the Shima family, he comes from a long line of priests who oversee the Myoda sect disciples.

KONEKOMARU MIWA

Yuki Kaji

A student of Ryuji Suguro's father's. Moved to Tokyo along with Suguro and Shima, becoming, like them, a student at the Exorcism Cram School.
He has a kind, amiable nature, and is usually the one to placate Suguro.
Recognizable by his slight build, bald head, and oversized glasses.

Because he lost both his parents during the Blue Night, when he finds out that Rin is the son of Satan, he fears him more than anyone else, and can’t hide his aversion.

IZUMO KAMIKI

Eri Kitamura

A female student at the Exorcism Cram School. Strong-willed, and something of a tsundere . Comes from a long line of shrine maidens, and was born with Heian Period noblewoman-like eyebrows. Though she has a sharp tongue, she actually cares about her friends. She is a talented Tamer, and can summon two white foxes, Mike and Uke, at once.

KURO

Ayahi Takagaki

A Cat Sith who was once worshipped as a protective deity for silkworms. Formerly, he was Shiro’s familiar, but is now living as Rin’s familiar. Normally, he takes on the appearance of a kitten, but he’s also able to reach a colossal size.

SHURA KIRIGAKURE

Rina Sato

A Senior Exorcist First Class of the Knights of the True Cross, and a student of Shiro’s.
She coaches Rin in kenjutsu (sword technique), and often provides advice to Yukio, making her a dependable confidante for both twins. Easygoing by nature, and a heavy drinker.

MEPHISTO PHELES

Hiroshi Kamiya

A mysterious man claiming to be a close friend of Shiro Fujimoto's. An Honorable Knight of the Knights of the True Cross, he leads Rin to the path of exorcism.
In his official capacity, he also serves as the director of True Cross Academy.
He subjects Rin to various ordeals in order to turn him into a weapon to fight Satan, but his true intentions are shrouded in mystery.

TATSUMA SUGURO

Takashi Inagaki

Ryuji’s father, and the current head priest of the Myoda sect.
His apparent refusal to act like a proper head priest - getting drunk in the afternoon, etc. - has earned him the nickname “Corrupt Priest” behind his back.
Due to this, he’s not on very good terms with his son Ryuji, who’s determined to rebuild the temple.

JYUZOU SHIMA

Katsuyuki Konishi

The second eldest son of the Shima family, and a Senior Exorcist (Buddhist) Second Class.
Outwardly, he looks gentle, but he’s unexpectedly short-tempered.

KINZOU SHIMA

Kisho Taniyama

The fourth eldest son of the Shima family, and like Juzo, quite combative.
An Intermediate Exorcist (Buddhist) Second Class.

MAMUSHI HOJYO

M・A・O

An Intermediate Exorcist (Buddhist) First Class who can summon Nagas (snakes) from her hand as her familiar. Has an instinctive dislike of the Shima family, and is on especially bad terms with Juzo.

SABUROTA TODO

Kazuhiro Yamaji

Hailing from a distinguished family that has produced exorcists for generations, he’s a former Exorcism Cram School instructor.
Currently, he’s the warden of the deep keep at the Japan Branch, where the Left Eye of the Impure King is sealed away.
